how do you save the game? everytime I get a game over…I have to start the game completly over no matter how far I get

This can happen on some games. All you have to do is this, during gameplay press the Esc button to bring up the emulator menu, then select game and then select SAVE STATE.

I almost forgot about the topic of saving. To skip all the emulator navigation just press F2 to save and F4 to load!
